Sonic is running around in Green Hill Zone, while Captain 0 watching. Sonic stops running as he meets Tails.
Sonic: Hello, my name is Sonic. What's your name?
Tails: My name is Tails. I will assist you in defeating Dr. Eggman, Sonic. Also. You forgot that you once saved me.
Sonic: Good point. But how do you know Dr. Eggman?
Tails: He said his name is Dr. Eggman after he kidnapped me. Then, you saved me, Sonic.
Sonic: Oh, I remember you!
Tails: Nice family, Sonic.
Dr. Eggman: I HAVE A LOT OF NINCOMBOTS NOW!!!
Sanic: CUMON STEP IT UP!
Sonic: Gosh! Dr. Eggman is up to no good again!

Post-Green Hill Zone cutscene[]
As Dr. Eggman's Egg Mobile explodes, Sonic and Tails destroy a capsule, saving Miffy, Toad and Baby Yoshi. Sonic starts waving his finger.
Miffy: Thanks for saving us Sonic and Tails!
Sonic and Tails: You are welcome, Miffy!
Captain 0: What can we do to defeat Eggman's henchmen?
Tails: We have the Tornado.
Sonic: Tails does a good point. We can fly on the Tornado.
Sonic, Tails and Tikal go and jump into the Tornado. It flies to Flying Island.
Pre-Flying Island cutscene[]
Sonic and Tails are flying on the Tornado. Sonic jumps and turns into Anime Sonic. Anime Sonic and Tails jump, turning Anime Sonic into Super Sonic, while Tails turns into Anime Tails. Super Sonic and Anime Tails are running to the island itself. They meet Mario on the island.
Mario: Wahoo!
Mario hits Super Sonic and steals his Chaos Emeralds, turning him to Anime Sonic back.
