Scratch is a chicken robot. He used to have a show named "Robot Chicken", but that got cancelled when they found out what Scratch was doing to Porky the Pig behind closed doors. He also used to have a website, but he had sold it to a cat who used it to manipulate kids into doing free programming, just like what Roblox dpes. Scratch is Grounder's bum chum, and together they are Dr. Ivo Robotnik's highest ranking servants.
History[]
Scratch was born in Mobius in 1266, some odd years after Magna Carta but before the 5th ice age movie came out, better known as "Ice Age: Collision Course". Scratch being created eons before Grounder was very depressed because he was lonely. This made him very evil. The first midevil act Scratch did spread chickenpox to try to turn people into chickens. This didn't work because Scratch is stupid. The next thing he did was assassinate a few guys. The first guy he tried to assassinate was King Henry III, but that didn't work since he's the king and you don't assassinate the king. The second guy he tried assassinating was William Shakespeare, but he said "nay thee" and Scratch was killed instead. In 1868, Dr. Robotnik brought him back to life using industrial magic he learnt from a clan of industrialists and fencers during the industrial revolution.
He was so scared of Dr. Robotnik he laid an egg and ran away. But this gave him an idea. He'd found a company called Scratch Ltd.. It'd later be superseded by Scratch Studios, but we're putting the chicken before the egg here. His idea was to produce robot eggs for robot humans to eat. Scratch manufactured all the eggs himself since (surprise surprise) he's a technological hen. One day, one of the factory workers caught him laying eggs. This gave him the idea to record himself laying eggs and put it on the internet for weirdos to see. Unfortunately this was the 19th century still, so he couldn't do that yet. A few days later, Dr. Robotnik kidnapped him and forced him to lay animal robot suit eggs for a few years. Fast forward to 1930 and Scratch escaped confinement when poor people and dust storms broke into Robotnik's Bad Egg Factory.
Scratch then perused a career in economics. He made many financial predictions which later went on to be inaccurate. Being extremely bored and poor, he pursued the life of a mercenary. Scratch went on to be hired by Dr. Wily and was renamed "Chicken Man". He fought in the Robot Wars against Mega Man until the 90s. He was tired of PWNing the loser Mega Man and getting his upgrades, thus he joined Dr. Robotnik again as his hitman. He and Grounder would hunt down Sonic and do house chores for Dr. Robotnik. After a few years of that and being exceedingly bored to death doing nothing, he decided to make an Adult Swim show about himself. Nobody watched it until he made the show about other people instead. That's when views really went through the roof. He edited all the episodes in his own video editor made with own programming language. He called them both Scratch after himself. However, studio executives cancelled it after The Porky Incident. We're not going into it cuz it's way too extreme for this wiki. A few lawsuits later Scratch is bankrupt, but he still his websites and his software. Leaving the software and entertainment industry to go back to being a hitman, Scratch sold everything and vowed to never return to that place. He and Grounder would still try and murder sonic, but eventually their metals was scrapped in 2034 to make Robotnik a new sink.
