Grimeware is a parasitic version of Sonic.EXE.
History[]
It all started when a version of Sonic gets knocked out by Dr. Eggman and fell into the The Pit of Retirement... only for him to get infected by a grotesque virus that turned him into Grimeware.
Grimeware went to hunt down and feed off of other victims in brutal, VERY fucked up ways to add to his hivemind. Sonic's friends investigated throughout the Sonic Islands, but they fell victim into Grimeware's EVIL tricks and traps. After that, Grimeware joined the League of Sonic.EXEs, as well as becoming friends with Devoid.
Later on, Grimeware met The King and gave him a choice between life and power. The King chose DINNER, and Grimeware tried to kill him, but Amy irrupted him. Amy was stupid enough to mistake Grimeware for Sonic. Unsurprisingly, Grimeware killed Amy. Link told Grimeware that he's no match for The King. However, since Link and The King are not versions of Sonic.EXE, they got affected by Grimeware's virus and DIED.
